Last week, members of the current Dog Tag cohort had the opportunity to visit Capitol Hill to share their stories and learn about how Congress works.
They met with several Members of Congress and staff to talk about their experiences as transitioning veterans, military spouses, and caregivers.
A Dog Tag pop-up bakery was also featured at the Longworth Cafeteria.
Congratulations to the Dog Tag team on another successful Hill Day! And thank you to all of the lawmakers and staff who took the time to listen to their stories and learn more about the Dog Tag program.

“Thomas Jefferson was the nation’s third president, and this year, his namesake hotel takes the No. 1 spot for the third year in a row. Guests can connect with the Virginia-born founding father in every part of the place — all 99 guest rooms are inspired by his travels, while Quill, the bar, references the era-appropriate writing instrument.”
